Our Triumphs - Scholastic & Non-Scholastic
AL Mahd Inter School Debate NMS-DPS won the rolling trophy for AL Mahd Inter School Debate, held on 31st January 2010. The participants were Kiran Dash and Misbah for Senior group and Adit Gandhi and Arjun Johar for the Junior group. Kiran Dash won the first prize in the Senior group and Adit Gandhi won the second prize in the Junior group, in the individual category. Our heartiest Congratulations to the winners.
SCIENCE-MODEL CONTEST Students of NMS - DPS took active and enthusiastic participation in the event and won the following prizes: • Vansh Patel of Grade II won the 2nd prize in Sub-Junior Kids category. • Taha Mandarwala & Vishnu Biju Pillai of Grade VII won 1st prize and Rohit Priyan of Grade VII & Nainika Dinesh of Grade VIII won the 2nd prize in Junior Category respectively.
SPECTRA 2009: 15 students of our school participated in the Spectra 2009, an art competition conducted by Indian Embassy. Following are the positions our students got in Spectra 2009: First Position in Sub Junior category: Vibha Maheshwari (Gr. II F), Second Position in Sub Junior Category: Siddharth Narayan (Gr. II C). The artistic work of other two students’ along with the position winner students is also displayed on the Desk Top Annual Calendar of Spectra 2009. Those students are: Divyaaunshi Purohit (Gr. II A) and Kiran Dash (Gr. IX). Derek O’Brien quiz competition: Hearty congratulations to Obada Anwar of grade VIIC and Adarsh Sanjeev of grade VIII A for qualifying in the semi-final of Derek O’Brien quiz competition held at St. Christophers School on 13th January 2010. U11 Cricket Tournament Winner of the tournament: New Millennium School -A Runner Up: YTCA Dubai Outstanding Player Award: Shahzad Bhatena- NMS-A (VII - C)

UCMAS classes’ timings are rescheduled as 4.30 PM to 6.00 PM for Level 1 to 5 and as 3.00 PM to 4.30 PM for Level 6 on Saturdays (as Saturdays will be regular working days for all students.)
