NMS
DPS Bahrain is run under the aegis of the Delhi
Public School Society. It has eminent personalities
on its management. Affiliated to the CBSE, the
school aims at an all round development of students'
personality so as to enable them to be future
leaders. We emphasize on our students becoming
independent thinkers, decision makers and responsible
citizens of the cosmos.
The
school has a strength of approximately 1188
students and is divided into the Junior, Middle
and Senior Wings. It offers a wide range of
subject options in the streams of Science, Commerce
and Humanities at the senior secondary level.
The school has well equipped Physics, Chemistry,
Biology, Mathematics, Social Science, Senior
and Junior Computer labs. Computer training
is imparted to students from KGII onwards. The
school emphasises on activity based teaching
and learning.
Besides
academics, the school also offers a whole plethora
of activities to hone the talents of the students.
It has a swimming pool, a tennis court, and
basketball, volleyball and footbal courts. There
are many activity clubs, to name a few - Public
Speaking, Dramatics, Art and Craft, Computer,
Chess, Gymnastics etc. Students have participated
and won many Inter School competitions at the
Inter School and International levels.
The
motto of the school is 'Service before self'
and the students are not only groomed but also
sensitized towards the real meaning of the motto
and thus, work towards the betterment of the
society.
