Secondary Section: VI- X

The integrated course in these classes prepares the students to meet the challenges of their curriculum successfully. Learning takes the course of interactive methodology whereby the students are encouraged to actively participate in classroom discussions and be a part of the learning process. The classroom teaching is complemented by regular practical experiments and assignments given at the end of the month which go beyond the text. These assignments are both informative and practical oriented. Extra classes are conducted for weaker students to bring them at par with the rest of the class. All students study English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science
(Physics, Chemistry and Biology), Social Studies (History, Civics and Geography) and an optional language (French, Arabic or Sanskrit). Co-curricular activities form an integral part of our curriculum.

The class X course culminates with the All India Secondary School Examination, which is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education. The Board conducts examination for the 5 subjects, while the school provides grades for co-curricular subjects which includes Physical and Health Education, Work Experience, Computer Usage and Art Education.

 NMS – DPS SHINES WITH ITS SECOND BATCH OF GRADE X

May 29th, 2009 will be a historic day in the memory lanes of the New Millennium School DPS, Bahrain for the record breaking results of its second batch of Grade X students who appeared in the Secondary School Certificate Examination, conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, India. With 100% Success rate, all the students scored First Division and 75% of the students secured Distinctions. Twenty percent of the examinees secured above 90% and 65% of them scored 80% and above in aggregate. The overall result of the school has been overwhelming.
